Well, I joined (actually updated my profile on) Facebook. I have to tell you, I can't believe how many people I know that are actually on it. People from Kingdom Bound, from High School, College, Family and other friends. I started out with 3 friends and now I have 40. I can't believe how fast people respond. I love some of the features too. You can join groups that interest you or hobbies you have, political views and groups, high schools and colleges. It is really a great way to keep in touch with alot of people in one collective place. Check it out.

Boy, it's cold!!
Well, as you know, we are in Buffalo, NY. Some people think that Buffalo is the snow capital of the world. IT IS NOT. Actually there are many places (some in NY) that get more snow. However, right now, it is mind-blowing cold outside. Right now the temperature is about 2 degrees. Yep, 2. It is supposed to go down to about -6 tonight. As in below 0. We are also supposed to get quite a bit of snow (1' to 3' in the next day). Yep, snow, snow, snow. Here are some pics of the last storm.

My Sewing Wish List
While I was off from work late last year, one of the few things that I could do was sew. And sew I did. I sewed bibs and bags, casserole carriers and diaper bags. With the new year, there are many new patterns that I want to try. This blog entry contains some links to projects that are are on my "Sewing Wish List."
- Pink October Tote. This is the one that I want to try the most (and in fact, I just bought the fabric for it today).
- Lindie Tote. This is another one that I really want to try soon. I have the fat quarters for it already.
- Bagsket. This is one I can't wait to try. This is a great one to use up some of your fabric stash. If this one turns out well, I will be making a ton of them for Christmas 2009.
- Signature Style Tote. I would like to try this one too. It uses fat quarters too.
As you can tell, I have an unhealthy fascination with tote bags and purses. I will post tips and pics when I begin to sew.
I can't believe how big Fred is getting!!
Fred was born on September 23, 2008. We got him on November 9, 2008. When we got him, he weighed less than a pound. Now he weighs 3.7 pounds!!!! We took him to the vet yesterday for his first shots. The littile baby did really, really well. He was a little tired and lethargic when we got home, but is doing better now. Here are some pics of Fred on the way to the vets and at the vets office with Chris.

New Tote Bag
Well, I have been sewing up a storm (with a sewing helper of course).
I was surfing the net last week and found a really neat pattern. You can see if here. I loved it. It was very easy to make. The girl said it took an hour. I would say that it took an hour to sew it, but about another hour to make the pattern and cut it out. Here are some pics.

Marley and Me
Well, last night Chris and I took our niece Tiffany to see Marley and Me. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It had a sad ending, but over all it was fantastic. I felt kinda like I was watching my life story (except with cats instead of a labrodor). I cried and cried and cried, but still walked away feeling like I got my monies worth.
If you have the chance, go see it.
